Web dev, minimized
My main goal is to craft amazing iOS/Mac apps. For that, I use Figma and Xcode.
I've had to create websites related to my apps, like app marketing sites and cms backend for content editors. I keep trying different web frameworks and hosts for that, like nextjs, react, astro.build, firebase, and on and on. I love trying new frameworks and figuring out the most efficient and free ways of hosting everything.
But the web stuff is a distraction. My main platform is native, and will be native for a while.
So henceforth, my web tool of choice will be Framer. I like how it's similar to Figma, and it's got good support for code blocks which will be useful for my mostly technical blogging. I'll keep costs low by having one main site for all my apps, while keeping the app-specific static sites to host /.well-known/ files for universal links and redirect the rest to the main Framer site.
Xcode, Figma, Framer. That's it.
